I felt so honored to have been selected with eleven other artists for the "Maui Strong: Art for Hope Exhibition," for the County's Office of Recovery Satellite at the Lahaina Gateway. The project, with all eleven banners, stands as a continued symbol of recovery and hope for Maui. Although art can't save the world, my hope is that even in tragedy, art can provide a reminder of the power of our communities and of the beauty in the small joys in life.
