Upon selected by the Town of Superior's historical board, I research, designed, and developed two bus stops. The first theme, "Original Town," is depicted below.
Superior wanted to emphasize its coal mining history, so I chose grey purples and yellow, oranges, and reds for contrast. The warm tones represent a Colorado sun rising on the town of Superior's potential and current exponential growth.
The buildings represented here are minimalistic drawings of the originals, and lines were inspired by some of Superior's original town's maps.
As the bus stop would be viewed by bus drivers pulling up and bus users, I wanted to make that the general idea of a town would be easy to grasp from a distance.
